The idea behind the Family Campfire Skillet is to help introduce the concepts and ideas of outdoor cooking to children with the help of an adult. By taking a small 6" diameter skillet and attaching a long angled wood and steel handle, children can safely learn to cook food like fried eggs and pancakes over an open fire and gain a sense of accomplishment. An adult handles the more complicated aspects of cooking such as flipping and turning the food.
